Demolition and Reconstruction of New Two Story, 23,000 sf Classroom Building

The scope of services provided for this project included a topographic survey, plan preparation, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for the demolition of the existing building and the construction of the new building. In addition, MAI provided ADA accessible routing, drainage design and calculations, domestic water and fire water connections, sewer connections, storm drain connections, coordination with the Fire Department for fire accessibility and FDC/PIV connections, and location of fire hydrant and general perimeter surface improvements. MAI coordinated with the adjacent building construction to determine grade changes and made adjustments, as needed, to obtain an optimum design finish floor elevation.
