MAI provided engineering and surveying services for the design and construction of a new 144,000 SF STEM school in Escondido. Our engineering services included the following:

- Parking Areas, Private Access and Fire Road Design
- ADA Accessible Design
- Public Improvements Design for Citracado Parkway, including new turn pockets at the intersection of Citracado Parkway and West Valley Parkway.
- Water Quality Design and Treatment
- City of Escondido, Escondido Unified School District, and DSA Processing
- Construction Administration including SWPPP Services
Our surveying services included design survey, construction staking, and preparation of a Record of Survey. One of the most challenging aspects of this project was creating a grading concept that balances multiple aspects of a hillside development and the minimization of earthwork to save costs, all while providing accessible and an enhanced student experience.
