MAI provided entitlement and engineering services for a 179 lot residential hillside development, located in Escondido, CA. Our services included the following:
The project had two challenging aspects: 1) residential lots are a mix of quarter acre and half acre lots on a 111 ac mountainous site, and 2) relocation of just over three quarters of a mile of potable transmission water Flume into 48” HDPE pipe with in the tract boundary. This challenge was met by a creative road cross section design including City and District approved locations of utilities outside the typical curb to curb horizontal locations.
